Add/Adhd/odd Children Help?

I have a 11 year old girl-8 year old boy-5 1/2 year old girl-4 1/2 year old boy whom all have Add/adhd/odd and they all take Concerta every morning and I am thinking about taking them all off of Concerta and putting them on a special restricted diet and Vitiams (Omega 3 and St.John’s Wort). What do all parent’s think I should do? The doctor saids that the kid’s will not be able to do without their med’s exspecially at school. They do have a very big problem about concentrating and seating still for more than a second at a time. What would yall parents do? Any information would also be very helpful or any website’s. My oldest daughter does have all the side affects of concerta including pulling her hair out- she seats around rolling her hair in her fingers and then pull’s it out for no reason. What do I need to do- keep them on the med’s or take them off of it? Also I have tried everything I can think of on the hair pulling and behavioral problem’s but nothing work’s. Any kind of advice
Ok and I do not believe in spanking my children, there are other ways of discipline then abusing my kid’s.
