Is there any benefit or harm to my daughter if I take Omega 3-6-9 supplements while breastfeeding?
I’ve bееn wanting tο take ѕοmе Omega 3 supplements fοr a even аѕ now, јυѕt tο boost mу energy along wіth thе οthеr benefits… Thеу′re οn sale аt mу local drugstore thіѕ week, ѕο I figured now іѕ thе time tο qυеѕtіοn!
never ever entrust a pill…especially if you’re instant it on to your child thru your milk…if it’s not natural…meaning you get it without taking a pill, don’t entrust it! No one can tell you whether or not it’s safe, no one can tell you how you will react to it or how your baby will react to it. I will never forget the article I read…nearly 1930-1940, in Europe, docs came out with a pill that was designed for pregnant women to take to combat morning sickness. oh yeah they told everyone it was safe…until those babies were born and 85% of them were born with disabilities/abnormalities like: missing limbs, Mental retardation…the list is quite long.
NOw you tell me….do you want to risk it?
If you take omega 3 supplements, some of the DHA will go into your breastmilk and will help with your baby’s brain development. So, yes, there is a huge benefit. The only possible harm I can reckon of is if the supplement contained mercury, but most excellent omega 3 supplements are molecularly distilled or from algae.
“MissKandyKane1888,” I can’t believe you are comparing omega 3 supplements to thalidomide.
Excellent for you! Yes it is fine for baby. If you are worried about the quality of the supplements (because they are not well regulated) go ahead and buy the organic version.
Description
Fish oil is a excellent source of omega-3 essential fatty acids. Supplementation is necessary for those who do not get enough EFAs. Vitabase Super Omega 3 has an enteric varnish that eliminates the fishy odor and terrible taste that other fish oil products have. It also allows the supplement to pass into the small intestine for better absorption. Omega 3 EFAs help heart health so much that the American Heart Association endorses supplementing with Omega 3 EFAs.
Omega 3 EFAs have shown an ability to impact cholesterol levels. They performed well in trials by demonstrating the ability to reduce the risk of heart difficulties. Omega 3 EFAs can reduce inflammation, which rheumatoid arthritis sufferers appreciate.
This fish oil is molecularly distilled in peacefulness to remove gray metals, dioxins, and PCBs. This process helps to keep it stable and fresh.
