  • chiyerano:

Look, continue having your like affair with fish oil. Not everybody can eat and tolerate fish or its products. If fish oil works for you, wonderful, as for me, I am sticking with marine algae and flaxseed. If the algae is excellent enough for the fish whose oil you want us to eat, its certainly excellent enough for human consumption. Speaking of spurious and moronic, you should really take a excellent look at yourself in the mirror and stop projecting whatever issues you have on me.

  • chiyerano:

How about focusing on what works for you and allow others to reach their own conclusions on the matter and choose what’s best for them? Not everybody can eat or tolerate fish and fish products, nor should they have to if they don’t want to.

  • chiyerano:

Whatever, I am going to stick to flaxseed oil and marine algae. Marine algae is after all where these fatty fish get THEIR sources of omega 3 from. Why bother with fish and their oils when you go honest to the source which happens to be marine algae? If you like fish oil, fantastic, I’d rather go one better than that and go honest to the source which has fewer contaminants and is just as rich, if not richer, in omega 3′s. Keep your fish oil, I’m sticking with marine algae and flaxseed.

  • chiyerano:

And be aware that you also may have problems and may have do a small bit more than just consume fish oil. To each his own.

  • chiyerano:

I have done plenty of enough research to know that people have faired perfectly well with the use of flaxseed oil in getting enough of the very omega 3′s that they need including walnuts, and particular types of marine algae. As I said, you want to consume fish oil, do so, as for me I am sticking with flaxseed oil and walnuts which have worked perfectly fine in giving me all the omega 3′s I need and more.

  • chiyerano:

As for me, I will continue to use flaxseed oil with some walnuts from time to time.

  • chiyerano:

I did read up and found that even some brands of fish oil can contain contaminants and that when it comes to managing cholesterol, the increase in HDL and LDL levels is vital. Based on recent studies, it is best to use sow based as well as marine based omega 3′s. I am just going by what I’ve read in these studies. If you want to consume fish oil, fantastic, but know what you are getting and that it doesn’t hurt to consider alternatives.

  • chiyerano:

According to some recent studies, eating fish can really increase LDL cholesterol as well as HDL cholesterol. Whereas walnuts reduce LDL cholesterol levels. And fish can at times contain particular contaminants like mercury. It has also been said that if one wants optimal health, one would be better off eating sow-based as well as animal based sources of omega 3′s.

  • chiyerano:

Fine, flaxseed oil it is then.

  • mitraljez:

reather eat fish & chips ;D

  • DoctorBudd:

LOL! You delight in eating nuts!

Btw take omega 3 for a pleased health fish time :)

  • chiyerano:

I read that walnuts also contain omega 3 fatty acids which is fantastic because I do delight in eating nuts.

  • chiyerano:

I reckon you mean vegans. There are vegetarians who eat fish and they are known as pesco-vegetarians.

  • chiyerano:

    Point taken.

  • Chrisisms:

Am J Clin Nutr. 2009;89(5). n-3 fatty acids receiving the most attention are derived from fish: EPA; 20:5n-3 and DHA; 22:6n-3. Limited data are available on sow n−3 ie ALA; 18:3n-3. Meta-analyses suggest EPA and DHA supplementation do not provide additive cardiovascular protection beyond ordinary care. No data exist on EPA, DHA or ALA supplement benefits for people already consuming vegetarian diets. There’s insufficient evidence to recommend n−3 supplements for cardiovascular protection

  • Chrisisms:

Did u try excluding toxic foods before supplementing w/n-3?

  • Omega3chimp:

My dad has schizophrenia and i gave him like a bottle of these.

  • DoctorBudd:

Take omega 3 for a pleased heatlh fish time. :)

  • crono5:

FDA says that the maximum dosage for omega 3 is something nearly of 500mg/kg plus theres has been case of cancer patient that took 15 000 mg of omega3 (more DHA ratio to EPA ) for all most 4 years, his cancer had disappeared

  • packers718:
